His new ride.. This car is built for No prep racing should be a good bit faster than the fireball once its dialed in..The fireball was built for drag radial and outlaw 10.5 racing..

Looks slick, but I'm gonna miss Fireball.

I was really rooting for him this season. Poor guy was the bridesmaid twice in a row. I thought it was great how the 405 all got behind him and worked as a team.

Kinda odd how he can do so well at No Prep but is hardly ever right at the top at home in the 405, where Big Chief and Daddy Dave swap the #1 slot most of the time. (I'm a big Daddy Dave fan--love that 1G Nova.)

I've become a big fan of these various "street outlaws" shows. They remind me of the early days of run-whatcha-brung Funny Car match racing, circa 1965-69.

The fireball was purpose built for drag radial and 10.5 racing, the setup is completely different. the engine is moved foward to help prevent wheelies and also some other differences. this new car will be wicked fast at no preps and on the street but i doubt it'll see much street racing. the new car is several hundred lbs. lighter also.
