gtx6970 Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Yes ....and no. For me personally for the most part. I already had the vast majority of the old annuals I wanted by the time they closed up. And I have tried my best to buy them complete over the years . If not I was not opposed to buying a 2nd one to steal parts from and trade or sell off the remains. Just recently I bought a junkyard 1960 mercury builder just for the stock hubcaps and tail light lenses. Then sold the remains on Facebook and got pretty close to my investment back I'm not a big fan of resin in general......unless I absolutely have no other option . Or there is/was no styrene version of what I'm after. But ....... my buying kits in general has slowed DRAMATICALLY the past year or 2 anyway. So to me loosing modelhaus was no big deal. But I can see where there is now a huge loss to the modeling community with them closing up.
