Yes ....and no.

For me personally for the most part.  I already had the vast majority of the old annuals I wanted by the time they closed up.

And I have tried my best to buy them complete over the years .  If not I was not opposed to buying a 2nd one to steal parts from and trade or sell off the remains.  Just recently I bought a junkyard 1960 mercury builder  just for the stock hubcaps and  tail light lenses. Then sold the remains on Facebook and got pretty close to my investment back 

I'm not a big fan of resin in general......unless I absolutely have no other option . Or there is/was no styrene version of what I'm after.

 

But ....... my buying kits in general has slowed DRAMATICALLY the past year or 2 anyway. So to me loosing modelhaus was no big deal. But I can see where there is now a huge loss to the modeling community with them closing up.
