Roger U Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 I'll be getting my first resin kit soon and I'm wondering which would be the best glues to use on it. I've done some research here, and googling it, and it seems like CA (superglue) and epoxy are commonly mentioned, but one place singled out Gorilla Glue CA as the one to use. Does it really matter which brand of glue is used? Thank you for your suggestions.
Freeman Cars Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 I think most ca glues are about the same, i have never see a difference . i have used epoxies a lot. devcon and jb weld come to mind. the ones that take longer to set up are usually the strongest bond.
smellyfatdude Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Lepage’s 5 minute epoxy is what I use. Gorilla epoxy will take days to harden. Lepage makes a really good superglue, as well.
