NOBLNG Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 I just made a new rear brake light lens from some Clear flash because I wasn’t happy with the kit piece. Red or amber bits could possibly be used for side marker lights?
Vince Nemanic Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 I use pieces of flash to fill sink holes. I put liquid glue in the hole put a small piece of flash in, use an old x-acto blade to push it down in the hole. I sometimes brush a light coat of liquid glue on top of the flash, and occasionally need to apply a second layer of flash to fill deep sink marks. Of course, once dry you need to sand or file the repair to shape. This is particularly handy on the bodies of old-tool Round 2 reissues
FordRodnKustom Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Great tips here, never would have thought of this. Looks like I will be dedicating a container to save my larger pieces of flash. Thanks!
