NOBLNG Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 I bought these clamps at the buck store and they are really useful for clamping glued parts and also for holding chunks of sprue or toothpicks with parts on them for painting. The problem is the plastic “spring” gets weak after a while and they no longer close fully. I have fixed them by heating the spring and holding it closed with pliers while I cool it with an ice cube.? The spring on the left has been “fixed”.
Deuces ll Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Cool! What did you use to heat up the spring????..... ?

I had to file a small notch at the tips too so my needle nose pliers wouldn’t slip off. Edited April 28, 2020 by NOBLNG
