so for the last week or so there has been this big box wrapped in purple paper sitting in the corner of the room and today i got to open it

Happy B-Day Di, And your gonna like that trailer! I got one about 5 years ago, and it wasn't all that hard to assemble. LOTSA parts though. But, it sure does make a GREAT dsplay peice for your models! It'll hold 6 models with no problem, and they'll look great on it! Neat gift! Have a GREAT day!

Happy Birthday! I hope it is a good one for you!!!

As far as the Transporter, I have one of those kits myself (this is my 2nd one actually - the first one was destroyed years ago by an upset female ). George was right on target when he said that it's not hard at all to assemble, but has a ton of parts. One of the things I'm planning to do with this one before I assemble it is to make molds of the ramps on it for later use on either car trailers or a ramp truck that I've got some ideas floating though my head on.

any painting sugestions ?

i was thinking of alluminum for most of it but maybe i should give alcad a try?

plus, this is a perfect excuse to buy me a real nice hauler too
