I am building the kit as a rescue vehicle and would like more industrial looking rim to use with the kit supplied tires. The tires are wide and I think I should use 6 bolt pattern rims

Any ideas on rims that would work.

As a side note Revell did not have any chrome parts, bumpers, grill and mirrors all white.

No issue of that kit included plated parts.  As for wheels, the tires in the Honcho were originally rubber but later changed to Monogram 4 x 4 tires.  The wheels were altered to fit.  For different wheels, you might look at Monogram 4 x 4 kits that use the same tires.

I've used both the ex-Monogram CJ-7 Spoke Rims, and the Dodge Ramcharger Alloy Rims on the Honcho. Since they both used the same tires as the Honcho, it is a direct swap.If you strip the chrome from the Jeep CJ rims, and paint the White, they look very "factory correct" on the Honcho.

As for aftermarket wheels/tires, I'd get a set of both Rims and Tires from Scenes Unlimited. He can set you up with a the whole shebang for a pittance, and the quality is First Class.
