Revell 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Here is the recent Revell re-release in Tamiya Bright Orange. I had a lot of fun weathering the chassis with Tamiya acrylics. Tamiya NATO Black base with Red Brown and Dark Earth washes. I “scratched” the skid plate with a silver pencil. Almost done, just have to add the detail bits to the body.

Great start! I love the "trail-tested" look of the undercarriage, and I can't wait to see your progress. This is my favorite post-CJ body style, and the orange sets it off nicely.

I didn't realize Revell reissued this kit with the stock parts. I want one!
