I'd love to see an A70 made in 1/25th scale.  The MPC Celica/Supra (A60) was the last 1/25th version that could be built stock.   In fact, that kit has never been reissued.  Round 2 should bring out the tool and start pumping them out again.  Fairly nice kit as I recall.

One of the BEST kits from MPC ever , especially of a foreign car .

Round2 ---- pretty please with cherries on top , reissue this kit ! Just remember to omit the nudie bar tint on the glass , and to pitch those ancient B.F. Goodrich tyres .

Very much 2nd or 3rd the reissue of the MPC Celica Supra once again. It's probably my only "Pining for the Fjords" reissue.

Never going to be a 1/25 A70 though, it took Hasegawa 32 years to find the gumption to do a new one to supplant the Tamiya kit, although I do hope to see a LHD version in the future. The factory stock kit should be out in two weeks or so and I'll be anxious to get my hands on one to inspect the engineering to see how possible that might be.

They could throw in a set of desert dawgs and call it a high roller!

According the “The Directory”, the blue car kit #1-0881 is an 83-84 released in 84 (my box has an ‘83 copyright).  First release was ‘82 car kit 1-0841 released in 83 - red car I assume.
It appears to be a really cool kit. I have never attempted them though so not sure how it goes together.

Here is a real one I saw earlier this year.

All I gotta say is I hope someone actually remembers to finishing tooling the wheels, cause I don't know what impact tool is gonna take off those wheel nuts as currently showing.

I expect separate wheel nuts for ease of painting.  Hasegawa has been doing this for most of their recent kits, even when it is not entirely necessary.

Pretty sure every generation of Supra (and Celica) has been of unibody construction....surprised none of the kits of this generation have been made w/ the targa top, I remember that being popular on the 1:1s back in the day.

Japanese modellers have posted the inside shot of the Hasegawa body on Facebook, the recess lines for scribbing out the targa top are there.
