That's really interesting and not the garbage we get with the talking heads.  If I tracked this correctly, it all started because the flight crew got the reverse thrusters to engage at the wrong time, and then the dominoes started to fall.

Like most incidents like this, it was a string of events leading to ultimate disaster.

Actually, it was a hot, hard landing with a bounce, and the failure to immediately firewall the throttles and do a go-around that began the sequence.

Yup. Juan Browne is the most credible aviation commentator I've ever seen. As a high-time airline, military, and private pilot, he really knows his stuff...and explains things simply enough so non-aviation people can easily grasp them.

No, I haven't had the time to keep up. But I should.

He's pounding away on Draco too. The guy is one helluva airplane builder.

Scrappy is a separate project. He has plans to resurrect Draco and even a new racer.

check out his channel, He really has skills with carbon fiber molding and one off type molding

that will interest most design and fabrication minded folks Aviation minded or not.
