Today, I bought the Willys Panel (Simple Simon) gasser, BUT, I will do a low slung tightly packed street rod with it. It's a kit I built as a 10 years old back then. Nostalgia maybe, but... with a 21st century twist. CT already looking orward to seeing it develop.

That car is a THAMES, not a Willys. Same plan however. I guess I should call for a supply of this "Prevagen" they advertise on cable TV to prevent memory loss? Might help... CT
misterNNL Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 I have an unfinished Anglia coupe(yes I said coupe) street rod project I let stall a few years ago. I removed the front fenders and added '34 Ford 3 window body sections from the A pillar back to "coupe-Ify" it. Suspension was swapped in from a funny car and a zero visibility hood scoop lives on the hood. I really should finish that one!

I know that Revell tried a distorted 33 Ford Coupe body to adapt to the much shorter T chassis from Buttera's rod. Some used it to create altered style drag cars. Who knows... Hope to see it completed! CT
