Psychobilly Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Here's a loose replica of an '83 Toyota 4x4 I owned when I was 20. Lost this one to a bad choice one night and a rollover on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. This is the AMT snap kit. I purchased the wheels/tires years ago off Ebay. Since this is a static/curbside kit I didn't spend a lot of time engineering a suspension lift. I cut pieces of spruce off the tree long enough to fit the tires. The pins were cut flush off the axles and the wheels were super glued directly on. Paint is Rustoleum 2x Cherry Red over black primer. Thanks for looking.
Goose1957 Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Man, that is one mean looking Toyota. If your real one was that big, can't imagine where you parked it at the store. I hate that bridge, too tall and skinny for my liking. Nice job recreating your truck. Jeff

Mine was on 35's.
