pharoah
Hi guys, Some of you might be familiar with Bombshell Betty. It's a 52(not sure) Buick with a straight 8 that ran 168 mph at Bonneville. The weirdness of it blew me away, and I had to build something like it. I used an AMT 51 Chevy Bel Air. The top was chopped ,all side trim was removed. New flat door panels were made, and a Nascar seat and a roll cage were added. It's a semi curbside because it has a 6 cylinder in it ,but the hood is glued shut. The intake and exhaust were too hard (for me) to fabricate. The Dagmars and the air intake are welding tanks from AMT's 53 Ford truck. It was painted silver ,with a coat of Alclad. The front suspension was replaced with an older pickup straight axle, and the trans and differential replaced with something more modern from the parts box. I hope you like it! Claude Thibodeau
Hi! Well, gentlemen, it gives full meaning to the term "snorkel scoop". Bravo to both of you. There is never too many Bonneville cars! CT
