stitchdup Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 I was browsing ebay earlier and it looks ike there is a new audi quattro kit on the way from nunu. I am wondering if anybody knows more about it. The box art showed what could be a more stock body UR Quattro but didn't have any information apart from it being released on nov 31st

The box art showed what could be a more stock body UR Quattro but didn't have any information apart from it being released on nov 31st It's a modified reissue of the Beemax S1 E2 Gr. B monster. New body tooling primarily with associated bits and bobs. Release in the Q1 of 2021. Represents the car as run (finishing 3rd) at the Olympus Rally in Washington State and was the last ever rally with Gr. B. By then the true insanity of Gr. B at Audi had faded after the death of Henri Toivonen at the Tour de Corse. They went from entering three team cars per event to a single entry except for three entries at the Ivory Coast Rally. Audi had stopped fielding Evo 2 and went back the "regular" Audi Sport S1. The car can also represent the Quattro S1 as run in 1984 & 1985 seasons prior to the Evo 2 as well. Several decal sheets from those earlier years are already in planning from the usual suspects like Reji Model. Edited December 5, 2020 by niteowl7710

Thanks, I'll have to get one to build the road car version as the body looks very close to it. Might even mix it with a tamiya one to get the engine. I was going to cut down one of the italeri kits but since this one is coming out it'll make it much easier
