As time went on things happened and just never picked it up again. That street drawing with the turbine cars was based on a street near me where my friend lived. The street and houses are long gone now but there were always these two Ford Corsairs parked outside and always thought they looked like turbine cars.

Your drawings are excellent Garath, I'm kind of in the same boat as you, was fairly good at drawing as a kid, but probably couldn't do it now... I do like all the Fords you drew, did you just like them?

Thanks Atin. Yeah I've always liked old Fords. My dad had a few in the 80's and my first car was a mk1 Escort.

Same with me, my family always had ford's, my first was almost a Cortina, you had a drawing of one!

Yeah, I always wanted a mk1 Cortina but they were hard to find even then. I had a mk4 Cortina for a short time which were everywhere in the 90's, it was brown with a brown vinyl roof and full of filler. It got written off by some idiot who had his blinker on to turn into the road I was coming out of but he kept going straight and caved the side of my car in as I pulled out.
