Just going through old threads and found this.  What a cool display.  A colourful well thought out old school build.  The sticker in the windows is great detail.

Easily one of ,if not, the most impressive big rig I have ever seen. The sheer magnitude of effort is undeniable. The end result is indeed a thing to be proud of.

Well done Sir...

What a great model project!  My first over-the-road truck was the International Transtar and I enjoyed driving it, something I would not say about a couple of rigs I have driven. Earned my Auto Transport Certificate in 1987 and was involved with the then new Cadillac Alante. Can still recall the pucker factor while putting my first auto onto the top track of an auto transport…a black Blazer lined up and driven backwards to the top front position. The only thing across the end of the track was a welded piece of 1/2” rebar! And you had to lift your fanny off the seat, support yourself via your left hand on the armrest and look out the window backwards while making sure you didn’t move the steering wheel too much or crack your head against the transporter steel. Man, that seems like eons ago!

You should be very happy with the outcome of the work put into this model transport and the various vehicles on it.  ??

Thanks for pulling this back out. Way cool rig!. I missed it somehow on the 1st go round. A friend in HS had a Scout with the decal package like the lower level middle vehicle. He hurt it 4-wheeling. I took a day off of work and helped him get back on the road again.
