Mike!  That is exactly how I’m doing it.  I have some left over 1/4 fine line from some Harley parts I painted and am putting that down first. I ordered some #11 blades, but the haven’t come in yet, and I’m still waiting on the drill bits. I’m so impatient.   I have to remember to be gentile with this stuff. Used to working on 1:1 stuff

Go for it Chaz, gotta start sometime buddy!!  Look at the tread in"Tips, Tricks and Tutorials".  But I gotta say, I do it the opposite. I lay the tape down as a guide first, foil over it, trim along the edge of the tape then peel off the tape.  Don't forget to burnish it down good tho.

My reply disappeared.  I am doing my foil the same way.  I have so a 1/4 inch fine line I had left over from painting some Harley parts and put that down first, the foil, burnish and trim. The excess foil comes off with the fine line tape. I can reuse the excess

I don’t really like the chrome rally heels so I tried to detail them out.  They will probably be silverDD3873C2-19C1-4B9B-9752-E283D44469D2.jpeg.2dc82af37262f2a98f08921d7cbf4633.jpeg

Well. I hit a snag with this.  I didn’t  notice that I did have both sides of the rear end seated fully in the leaf springs and now the rear end is way crooked.  I dread taking this thing apart, kind of feel like I’m going to break something. Any tips or ideas?
