250 Testa Rossa Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Having a bit of trouble with the front flares on my build of GT350R 5R101. I don't think I did the wheel openings right, having overhanded one of them. What would be the best way to fix the wheel openings so I can get the styrene to form the shape of the flare to sit in the correct position? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Steamboat Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 I have done this repair by gluing a strip of. 010" styrene in the wheel arch, leaving a little bit sticking out. I then filed it to shape, and puttied the area around it. After a few coats of putty they looked really good.
