69 Mach1 Salt Flat record holders

This would be an interesting build.  In my magazine collection spanning 40 years I have only seen this one article about the one remaining car and the story about all three cars.  Such an interesting blend of a stock car, 68 Mustang, 69 fastback, with a lot of modifications to average almost 160 miles per hour.  Sorry to those trying to read this on a cell phone.  It was in the July 2012 issues of Muscle car review.  I added a picture of the original Hot Rod magazine from 1968 (which I do not have).  This would be an interesting model build with parts from a Boss 429, Mach1, 68 Mustang, 427 Cobra, stock car just to name a few.  Anyone up for the challenge?
