Wow, those look great!   I assume that's the AMT thunderbird chassis?  Is it stretched, or stock wheelbase?  Where do I get one of these?

AMT chassis stretched 3/16 inch

She is in storage now.  I have an older pic. Looks bout the same but no mudflaps and now Cragar SS wheels

That’s literally the twin to mine . Here’s a picture the day I got mine.

We are missing the same trim piece to!

I used a standard Montego piece and trimmed to fit 1976 Mercury Montego - Information and photos - MOMENTcar

My 1st stock car ride was in a '72 Torino with a 429 under the hood, finished 8th at Riverhead with it in '82. I ran it about a dozen times after with the worst finish being 8th and the best was 2nd twice. 

The car was re-skinned in '83 with a Montego body, similar to the resin piece here.
