I like it, who makes it or did U scratchbuild?

It's one of the new releases from Auto world. It was originally released in the 60's by AMT. The originals go for several hundred dollars, so I was really glad to see this one get rereleased. They just came out about 2 weeks ago.

Very impressive. How were the textures and details on the canvas, barrel, cargo bed, etc. achieved? Did you do that yourself or are they provided for in some way in the kit?

The kit is molded in white and the textures are there. Just add paint and your there. It was a fun kit to build and paint.

First time I have seen one of those built. Looks like you did a great job on it. The new kit will sure knock the value of the original kits down as they go for big bucks. I love it when they bring back original kits.

Hey Russell

Thanks for posting this :D

I waited for month's for this to come back again after hearing about the re-issue. Last one on eBay before this re-issue went for $200.00.

Got two of them this week as "My Christmas Present", so haven't opened either one yet. Christmas morning ya know - :P LOL.

Don't wanna make Santa mad.

You don't believe in who....???:lol:

Yours looks really good. Love the way you "antiqued" the canvas. Looks real. Very cool build.

Anyhow thanks for sharing - dave :P

Sorry couldn't resist after seeing your pics  Great Job B)B)

Classic!! The only thing better for this build would have been a picture of the F-Troop cast!! :P

Thanks for sharing,

Excellent build on the stoggie. Looks wild.

If only Charles Ingals had these wagons to get to town? ....would of saved him tons of time ;)

MIne is scratch built. I started with the chassis of the 32 Ford Pheaton, grill of a 29 ford, wheels off the 39 wagon rod kit, custom built the exhaust, and scratchbuilt the rest. I used balsa wood for the body, piano wire and an old T-shirt for the cloth. Once the body and canopy was together...I clear coated the whole thing in one piece. The clearcoat made the cotton shrink a bit and harden......this was strictly a fun relaxing build.
