Some old etchings

I found a couple of old etchings I did more than 20 years ago today. Not sure why my sisters iphone decided to warp them a little

Those are cool. What material is it? I used to scratch drawings into quarry slate and hang them on the wall. Reminds me of that.

Its on glass, I tried some old purple roof slate around the same time but found glass easier.

could be, the beach around me is covered in it after a shipwreck a couple hundred years ago

Sounds like the "John Preston" It was carrying slate from Wales and went down in a storm off the Sound of Mull.
