Well like the title says i finished the Rat rod, i will be doing another build like this beacause it really was a lot of fun and i was able to be very creative, there are lots of pics to look at so check them out and let me know what you think.

Thanks guys, the toilet seat idea came about because what guy wouldn't be comfortable sitting there reading a hot rod magazine while some one else does the driving a few beers and your in heaven ;)

Thanks guys for all the great comments and i really like the toilet seat to, the engine is a Chevy overhead valve straight 8 and there is no such engine i converted it from the old Corvette blue flame 6.

No, no, no! That's no ordinary straight 8. That's a hgh performance tirbocharged Chevy straight 8 with the full rust option B) !

Thats gotta be the NASTIEST RatRod Ive ever seen....I LOVE IT....THAT CAR IS SOOOOOO COOOOOOL!!!!!!!!

As for the motor.....it does resemble something like this straight 8 plue the turbo

Awsome i didn't know Buick made an overhead valve straight 8 very cool and thanks for the info i guess my idea wasn't as original as i thought but i still had fun building it.

Your Idea is as original as it gets.....this was the first time I ever seen a OHV straight 8 used in a ratrod, custom, hotrod or any other build in matter of fact. When I saw your build i had remembered a long time ago seeing a real engine and I had to find it last night. It was with no intention of taking anything away from your originality

WOW. I love this car!!!! The toilet seat is so original!!! The straigt 8 is cool as ever too. I love to see odball engines in 1:1 cars and models. If I see one more ford hotrod with a Small Block Chevy in it I am going to puke!!!

Looks excellent. How long did it take you to get good at weathering?

Thanks Rudy, i think i have been weathering model cars on and of for about 3 years. This is the first time i have done the rust and peeling paint this way and it really wasn't to difficult to produce.
