I am wondering where I can source a rat roaster intake for a single carb that they ran back then? -

I took more than a few pictures of this on the WIP table at NNL East. Then this week I ordered the decals from Mike's. Also got the Charlie Glotzbach sheet. Keep it up. -

Janis Joplin's Porsche 356C and Janis figure...
1972 Satellite replied to Brizio's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Hey Fabrizio, I work at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and we have the car on display currently. I would love to take any pictures you could possibly want for reference, should you need any. I have total access to the vehicle and would love to help any way I can. -

Like what I see. Also wanted to say thank you for all the pics on the first page right where they are easy to find. -
I would strongly suggest you throw away the body and replace it with the Speed City Resin Barracuda F/C body they offer. Other than that, it seems very nice to me.

Hey, I took a 2nd place with my Challenger. 3rd place went to a purple 70 RoadRunner.

I love this. You did a wonderful job on that Charger. The one part that is always missing from those '71 Charger chassis swaps is the wiper fluid tank. doesnt come with the kit and always makes the passenger side of the engine look empty. But I think this is great.

That is beautiful. I am in awe.

This kit could have the same potential as the AMT '71 Charger did with '71-'76 B-bodies, as far as using it to update every E-body from '70-'74 with accurate chassis, doghouse and driveline. Also the new tires looked incredible and the 15" Rallyes might be the best yet. I am not even an E-body guy, but am still very excited for this kit. -
Hosted on Fotki MCW Hemi Orange with urethane clear. Hosted on Fotki Tamiya German Grey chassis with my idea of what factory overspray looks like. Steelies are from the 68 Charger. Missing Link dog dishes will cover the lugs. Hosted on Fotki The undercoating is Tamiya acrilyc. Hosted on Fotki 3 RBs. The one on the left is from the Dart with the '71 Charger carb. The six-pak on the right is for a Johan Q5 '69-1/2 RoadRunner that is near completion. The middle 440 is the '71 Charger mill with a Dart intake and water pump, fuel pump, oil filter piece. The kit pieces they replace are very crumby. I think that might go into Missing Link's '71 SuperBee. They all got a couple coats off Tamiya grey primer. I de-canted some Chrysler Orange engine enamal and sprayed them with my airbrush.

Wild Willie Borsch's Charger FC

Thanks for the help gentlemen. I am realizing that for my first funny car, I should tackle something a little less complicated. Could build it with the hemi, but that rat branding elephants decal is priceless. Until then, maybe that new Hawaiian. -
I have a question about the Chevy motor and induction on WWB's funny car. Where might I find these items. I own plenty of funny car models and none of them appear to have anything but a hemi. Thinking I might take the intake from the Stone Woods Cook gasser, but still need the chevy mill. I love this car cause it's powered by Chevy, Dodge bodied with a Ford color (Grabber Orange looks to me). Hope to have it done for the Mopar Nats model contest.

Is that a Charger steering wheel? That stance looks real nice to me. Cannot wait to see it done.
-
I will be keeping a very close eye on this one. Looks great so far.

Let me just say that a rare earth magnet is also the best stud-finder money can buy. Rub it on a wall and find every screw or nail-head.

Try setting your page look to Treble at the bottom left. It worked for me.

That is a dream garage for me. You might want to try the '71 Charger chassis swap for some of those. It really makes all the difference in the world. Real quick, my dream car is a '72 Plymouth Road Runner GTX 440-6, although I own a '72 Satellite Sebring Plus, so I am half way there. If you ever need reference, try www.roadrunnernest.com

You have quite a skill. I am beyond impressed. Have anything in a 71-72 Plymouth B-body? Or even a website to visit?

'66 Chevy Steelies?

Dave from MCW is hooking me up with the Chevelle wheels and hubcaps. Do not worry Rick, I got some Mopars on the workbench for you.
