bogger44 Posted June 29, 2021 Author Posted June 29, 2021 I really appreciate the all those comments guys. While I am really happy with the outcome, I didn't think it would garner so much love. I've learned a lot on this forum since I joined up and have to thank all the great members here with your amazing knowledge, skills, tips, etc. pushing me to always try to improve every build one by one. Thanks again so much to each and every one of you! On 6/26/2021 at 12:44 AM, Bills72sj said: Very well done. Great finished and detail. If you ever do another pistol grip shifter, Run a strip of Molotow on the front and back. Will do, I've built a few Mopars with the pistol grip and never done that for unknown reasons! Thanks Bill! This is a great example of what I touched on in the paragraph above. On 6/28/2021 at 7:41 AM, TarheelRick said: I doubt I can add any more accolades to this build. I am totally awestruck over the cleanliness of this build. As others have said, with your photography this one looks more real than some real ones. You sir, have set the bar to a whole new level on realism. Thank you for sharing it. Wow, I don't know if I'm worthy of that but I do thank you very much Ricky. This GTX has become one of my favorite builds I've done, even with as relatively basic as this kit is. I try my best at the photography, too. I don't use anything fancy though, just a Nikon P510 that I've had for about a dozen years, and just shoot in full auto & macro modes. 23 hours ago, crazyjim said: Very nice build. What paint did you use on the wheel spokes? Looks almost like gray primer. Thanks Jim. It's plain old Testors gray from the little bottle, with some dullcote slapped on over it.
Belugawrx Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 That came out great Tony Love the stance, and the paint looks awesome??
Jim B Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 That's a great looking GTX, Tony. Very well done. Perfect color.
