Pierre Rivard Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Great application of weathering pigments. The pictures of the engine compartment, interior and rear bay/fuel cell all show the effect of racing in the desert. Very realistic. What a great project! 1

Thanks Pierre, I am happy with the Tamiya grey/yellow dusting to simulate road dust...now we wait for decals to show up from STS decals and I can continue on the body weathering. 1
Belugawrx Posted February 21 Author Posted February 21 More little things completed... Spare mounted.. need to get a proper spare from Joseph next time I order... Scratched an Optima battery Need decals Installed BMF heat shields, exhaust and labelled all 4 paws Decals are settling in with some Micro Sol... So that's about it until the decals come in from STS... I'll be back 1

nickfzr61 Posted April 30 Posted April 30 This is coming along nice. Can’t wait to see your weathering. Should be a real nice model when done. 👍🏻 1
Belugawrx Posted May 28 Author Posted May 28 STS decals came through with some really nice stuff...dipped in warm water and almost instantly ready to slide Colours are brilliant and nice sharp demarcation..very happy and well worth the wait. Just need to scratch up a shovel and a jack, do a bit of weathering, and she'll be going under glass. Thanks for checking in ..all questions, comments, and critiques are welcome. 1
