It's funny, I just finished this kit.  Same color as the OP, except for the black interior.  Almost finished anyway, still figuring out how to get the windshield in without getting glue all over it.

The kit is a bear to finish.

That is really nice. I don't know if this will help or not but I've put the glass in place and held it in place with painters tape. Then use the clear glue in a few key spots that wouldn't be noticeable.

Thanks!  Paint is Sand Metallic from Model Car World.  Might be the Chevy name for the paint, could be Pontiac called it something else.

I'm thinking about building a wedge from thin cardboard to hold the glass in place.  

One of the first kits I've completed since 1993.
