3D Printing Smaller Scale to Larger Scale?

This is probably a stupid question but I'll ask anyway. Could someone 3D print something from a smaller scale model, say 1/35, and make a copy of it in 1/25? Would it be stealing if you did? If not, does anyone know who could do this? I ask because I want to finish my 28 Lincoln wrecker and was going to build a Weaver Autocrane for it from scratch but I found this amazing boom from another kit but it's the wrong scale. It's not that I can't build one myself but it would be alot easier this way and I'm sure mine wouldn't be as nice. Here are some pics of the 1/35 version.

If the computer model has been already created then it can be printed out in any size. If you have model parts then they would have to be scanned first.
