This was mine as a child. Well played with so lots of paint loss. So I striped it. Repainted it. And here it is.The decals I made from a picture on line. Printed it. Cut them out. Sprayed with acrylic gloss. And used double sided tape to attach to the car. I’m a bit disappointed with the gloss of of the car. I used Duplicolor primer, paint and clear coat and it’s just not shiny. Not as good as brand new but a big improvement. Now I have to figure out how to keep the chassis attached to the body.

Pledge Shine or Future or whatever they call it now works.
Paint it on unthinned with qtip. Not too much to avoid runs. Let dry, repeat as needed if it works for you.
Nice work on the car.
