Guest zebm1 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 You can import tha pics of your models from bucket.com and save us some minutes in our lives Paul, it would be tha considerate thing to do in my opinion. Too many boards, so little time to breathe air..... Zeb
Paul Payne Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Zebm1, I have included some pix as well as the link. Sorry, I didn't realize viewing the link was that time consuming, but there's a lot more pix than I can include on one post.
Paul Payne Posted February 26, 2007 Author Posted February 26, 2007 Tom, the dash is sheet aluminum cut to shape. The engine turning was done with a 1/16" diam. flat tipped diamond bit in my rotary tool. I just started touching it to the surface and tried to control it enough to create a fairly even pattern. Mr. Metallic, the engine is a Corvette ZR-1 retroed to look like a 60's engine. The blower is made from two bodies from the AMT 57 Chevy blower. The Ford decal is a joker because I usually don't like Chevy engines in Ford rods!
