The origins of the Monogram 41 Lincoln

I presume it has origins back to the 60s like a bunch of other kits,the one I have is molded in black and I built it in late 74 and my replacement hood hood is molded in white so what is the progression of colors they were molded in.

Original was dark blue.  The Seventies issue was black, a late Eighties issue was (off) white.  SSP issue (late Nineties) uses original box art, I have one and am pretty sure it's dark blue again.
