Question about ads

We are back to the clickbait ads(walmart shoppers) and I've noticed something odd. We can have the same ad but in the top right corner is a rotated triangle and on others there is the triangle and an x. If I click the x a menu comes up asking why I don't want to see the ad. Unfortunately the ads with just the triangle wants you to sign into google to report the ad.

Why is there a difference?

I don't know. It probably has to do with how the ad is served. Google has been transitioning to new a new ad serving back end, so you may be seeing old vs. new (and supposedly improved) versions.
