Bare metal foil, before or after final glosscoat?

Hello all!! Finishing a car project finally, and not doing much in the way of Bare metal, need to know if you apply it before the decals and final clearcoat, or at the end when all else is done? TIA

Best to do it at the end, because if you mess up on the clear coat than yeah.

Some clears also yellow over time which gives the foil an odd look.
