From where I sit , I'd say you nailed it because it looks pretty close to the 1;1. I love the flat black finish.

Thanks, TooOld and Grumpy...I appreciate it!

When I saw the 1:1, I had to build one in 1:25. It's pretty unusual. I didn't nail it, but it was fun.IMG_1533.jpg.f3b44ccddb773731ab3ab3d01982b30c.jpgIMG_1532.jpg.42d34fa09f53dd9d5607763d356bb11f.jpgIMG_1534.jpg.fbff3e2d60dd71a5ecfbe54e6f2db725.jpgRc0fe217572134e8f539b55887a7a8906.jpeg.jpg.16ca558c55d6efe0ad6495efe9fccd3e.jpg

I don't know what you didn't nail with your replica, other than the hubcaps, it looks spot on to me!

Honestly, I think the hubcaps add to the clean look.

The fact is I have not seen the rear of the 1:1 so what I did back there is pure fantasy. I don't know what's under the hood either so I took the liberty of powering with a very docile flathead for lack of a better idea ?...pure fantasy.IMG_1535.jpg.5a3097549e75cceb133cbfad74868a81.jpg
