Wheels made by different manufacturer than Model?

Hey just wanted to know if Aoshima wheels will fit on Fujimi kits? Are they both attached the same way? Any mods needed?

Also just so I know, if anybody could tell me the compatability of Aoshima or Fujimi wheels on Tamiya,Aoshima and Fujimi?

i think they all do use the "polycap" design, but you might find odd ones that dont use it. thats not saying any tire will fit on any car, but if you can cram it under the wheel well, it will probably fit on the suspension.

Both are poly caps. The aoshima wheels/tires are larger scale wheels than Fujimi. Aoshima about 1/24 and Fujimi closer to 1/25. Might have to do some wheel well work and adjust the suspension.

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the wheel is the "male" part, and the polycap is in the suspension hub, sometimes the wheel is "female" and the poly cap is in the wheel.

If they don't fit, you look at how both kinds are made, and make the necessary modifications. You need a Dremel tool w/the right kind of cutting tools, plastic tubing and plastic rod, and some ingenuity. Once you've modified dissimilar wheels to fit a particular model, the process gets easier. One way or another you need a pin and a receiver.
