E St. Kruiser50 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) Well, after looking at all the "Jillions" of "Amazing" 2008 builds here, I thought - well why not , I'll jump in here and share some of this years fun also. Fun to look back, and got some cool stuff for the next few years also. Are we having fun here or what?? "66 No-va-Mad Faux Ferrari (New Cobra ) 1930 Packard Street Rod Well, almost done 1934 chopped C-400 convertible sedan Shortend and "Vetted", '59 Chevy Sport Roadster. This was great. Lotsa scratch-building. "The Bird, the bird, the Bird Is the Word" Member that song?? . I love this build. ....and a few things yet to finish - someday. Edited January 3, 2009 by Treehugger Dave
62SS Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Incredible work Dave. I cant decide weather I like the 59 Roadster or the Nova wagon the best. They are all awesome. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing.
Raul_Perez Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Dave, Dave, Dave...The Faux Ferrari is pretty cool stuff, but I'd have to say that my favorite is the '59 Chevy Sport Roadster! (Even if I'd have gone with the Vette wheels instead of the stockers from the late '50s) Later,
Peter Lombardo Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Eight little jewels...great builds, I still like the 59 shortie the best....it just works so well. The 34 Chopped top is my second fav... but they are all winners. Something tells me that you will surpass these in 2009 though....just looking at the primer shot at the end. You know, if it were possible to put all of our (the forum guys) 2008 builds on a few tables somewhere, it would make for one hell of a show.
Clay Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 "The Bird, the bird, the Bird Is the Word" Member that song?? . I love this build. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0zWhrbVp7g Seriously, I loved all of your builds Dave and I cant wait to see that vette. Why not try your hand at the 53 Studebaker Starliner?

Great idea. Boy, would I like to see that happen . That would be so cooooool!! Pretty cool also seeing all these threads on everyone's builds. I missed some stuff, so nice to get a second chance. Everyboy's stuff here really ROCKS. All the best guy's - dave

Bernard Kron Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 So nice to see them all here (including some, as seem to be generally the case, I somehow missed). There's nothing else like the Treehugger's style - technically stunning and massively original. My faves are the Shorty Chev, Ol' No.7, and the Merc styling buck ( ), but wait... how 'bout the awesome chopped '34 and the lovely T-Bird ... oh I give up. I just can't wait tp see what I'm certain will be mo betta in '09. O.K. Everybody - YOU GOTTA CHECK OUT THE YOU TUBE LINK that Clay posted here. WAY,WAY FUNNY Thanks Clay - I'm still laughin' - dave The Rivingtons live in altered form! (lov the punked out backing track). Don't miss it.
