Jantrix Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 But it still pales in comparison to most of the work on this site. My 2008 Cannonball racer Monza. Lots of scratchbuilding and modification. A quick rebuild brought a poor model to new life. A fun build. The "Rat" Packer. 69 GTO for my wife. Over 15 years in the works, finally done. MPC 67 Charger with AMT 70 Super Bee pro-street chassis & OHC hemi. My Stephen King inspired Cougar. A real fun build. This has been my best year for modeling since my teens. However due to financial problems I may be losing my home so I doubt 09 will be as good. Good luck to everyone in the coming year.
Raul_Perez Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I'm really sorry to hear about your potential loss. These are really tough times for many good people. On a brighter note, this is my favorite of your builds; I suspect because I tend to personally like the more custom and creative side of this hobby. Thanks for sharing and I wish you and your family all the best in '09. Later,

Jantrix Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 Thanks guys. That's high praise coming from you three. Much appreciated.
James W Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 This kit has always been one that I thought would be fun to super detail as you have done. I like the spoiler mods. Good Going!! Sorry to hear about the house. But don't give up. Approach the bank or a broker and see what your options really are. As for your models not being 'on par', there will always be incredible builders out there. Build for you, learn from others and see how far you can go!!! They look great to me!
