1976 Petty Charger with Vinyl Stickers Salvinos JR

Maybe wrong place for this but wondering has anyone started on the Petty 76 Charger with a painted body and the vinyl stickers yet?  I ordered it and wanting to start it this next week and wondering about pitfalls if any

I seen the Salvino facebook test run applying these, looked like they went on good.

I wonder can you clear the body before applying them or maybe after?  I plan on not painting the body as they say your can get by without it.

I don't see why you can not clear before. Only thing I'd worry about is if you need to pull the vinyl to adjust and it might pull the clear up? After should not pose any issues.

That is a good point.   I hadn't thought about that.
