customsrus Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 mixed with the new generation corvette and a 59 impala.
RadRidesByDan Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 takes lots of skill to mate to cars that have 40+ years difference and make it look really COOOOOOOL
Raul_Perez Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 How many of those Corvette models did you buy?! Very nice pair of builds!! Thanks for sharing,
Peter Lombardo Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Extremely well thought out. Nie mix and match. Interesting how the 59 Chevy is getting so much "play" lately. I like it. I really like how well the fastback glass fits into the rear deck of the 59. Nice mate to Dave's red convertible Vette 59.
george 53 Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 WOW Talk about radical! Man is that nice! An you went an build 2 different versions? WOW, all I can say, is WOW!!!

FloridaBoy Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 To me the perfect custom is to alter and clean the lines of a very classic automobile and enhance the design without losing the identity of the original car. Ricky Couch made his best stuff from scratch, and his stuff was uniquely beautiful, but many of us subscribe to the approach not to come up with anything spacey, which detracts from the original identity and design of the car. This 59 and the 58 are sterling examples of how far you can take a custom out there, without damaging the original integrity of the 59 Chevy lines. Way to go, customsrus. I applaud you. Yeah...I still have a couple of them around, too. How about a truck? Here's my '57 Z06 pickup: Here's the link: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8528 I won't mind if you build a clone of it if you don't mind me building a clone of your '59 Impala!!
