Iowa Shaker?

Just wondering if anyone on here has built it. Looking for info on what color blue paint you used. I usually make up paint schemes on models but I wanna do this one as it was. My other question is about the tires. Did you use the kit ones or find replacements? I'm a little concerned with painting the white tires and getting the right look but I don't wanna loose the old shool look of the sidewalls. Any info would be appreciated.

http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model_clu...6/dscn0006.html Hey my friend, here is mine... I used Tamiyas' Mica Blue paint on it and I think it looks very close to the color used by the 1/1 car. Used different tires and rims, don't remember from which kits since I had them hidden in a small bin for the longest. I decided to Alclad the velocity stacks with chrome after cleaning them up and drilling them and also Alcladed the headers and other suspension parts. Just browse through the pictures of the meeting and you will see a bit more of it. Hope this helps..... :wink:
