Oldmopars Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I am attempting to get the most out of my printer by stacking the prints. Has anyone ever done this? My printer is large, but I still need to tilt these full size long-bed truck frames to get them on the bed. Have you tried it and if so, what was the results? Here is my plan: 1
MeatMan Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 Interesting setup! I've never tried it but it certainly could work. One thing I would caution on is the fact that you are multiplying the load on the lowest layer of supports, especially the first ones that print. I would make them medium diameter. That of course may make them harder to remove, or clean up.
Texas_3D_Customs Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 There is a script or program someone made to add floors for doing this, I think Joel Telling did a video on it.
