Saltie Olds
Here’s what my next semi truck project is going to be. I’m going to be adding some parts from the Alaskan Hauler to the W925 and have the trailer up on the truck. Still trying to figure out a good mid tire to put on it. Yes, I’m keeping the sleeper on the truck. Edited May 8, 2022 by Saltie Olds Needed to correct the name
Saltie Olds
This truck is a rough idea on what I’m looking for in this project. The tire size is perfect. 29.5-

Saltie Olds
I’m debating between these tires or R/C off road truck tires with 1.0” wheels that’ll be between 50 mm and 54 mm. These are from KFS, I’m planning on getting their front axle to convert my truck here into a 6x6. I’m also going to need to stretch the trailers axle assembly with Evergreen or get a second logging trailer to stretch the one I already have. Once I’m able to have the KFS front axle, and all the wheels and tires I’m needing, I’ll be able to start building and posting. I’m also thinking about stretching the truck frame in order to put both the Alaskan Hauler and the W925 Watkins sleepers on the truck back to back. Saltie Olds
Here’s the R/C wheels and tires I’m thinking about going with. The wheels are 1.0” and the tires are 54 mm. This truck will be a combination of a W925 and a KW C500, with front drive axle. I like these a lot better than the ones from KFS.

I tried to get a front axle from KFS and they were out of stock. So, I made my own. I also made the Rockwell T-138 transfer case to go with it. These should be available very soon from Texas 3D Customs.
