1960 impala grille compatability

i need a grille for a 60 chevy project and was wondering if an original grille will fit the revell impala. amt/smp grilles consistently appear on e-bay but not the revell. anyone ever try it?

I wouldn't bet on any of the SMP parts being anywhere close to fitting a Revell body.  The SMP kits are on the crude side, the bumpers are no exception.

I haven't tried it, but the original one looks much thinner and less accurate than the Revell.
