Snoopy Ice Hockey

Okay, I just finished building Atlantis’ Snoopy Ice Hockey kit. So far the quickest and easiest of the five Snoopy kits I’ve built to this point. And probably the one that interests me the least. I am not a sports fan in any way. And I hate winter, despite living in Minnesota. Sports + Winter = things like Hockey, which I dislike and avoid. Yet I had so much fun building the other Snoopy kits. Plus, I like Snoopy’s little pal Woodstock. I had to buy and build this one too. I had enough fun building it, I’m glad I did. 

Now I’m waiting for Atlantis to reissue Snoopy and his Motorcycle with Sidecar. Another kit that includes good old Woodstock.

You made me laugh with your comments about winter and hockey. Hockey is my 2nd favorite sport (after auto racing). I have seen this "kit" before but looks like a toy so have no interest but thanks for showing us.

It basically is a toy. And really not that much fun to play. Too limited in what you can do in playing with it. It gets boring real fast. 

I do like like Woodstock’s calm demeanor on his face. He’s smiling with his eyes closed. He seem little worried that he can not defend the goal. Snoopy on the other hand, doesn’t look as confident. He looks like he’s having a hard time getting the puck past his little buddy.

Curling is another “sport” I just don’t understand. Hockey makes much more sense to me.

I would rather watch curling. But that probably is because i was in germany for 2 years and some of us would grab a bottle of whiskey and watch the locals curl on a pond in the woods. I used to watch a bit of hockey. But i grew up in louisville, ky and it is a or was a basketball town, never got into basketball played at the local park but just can't watch it on tv would rather watch bowling or golf.
