Hi all, I know this was only a short run mag but does any member know how many issues were printed? I thought it was 9 but have been told it could be more.

R&CM was a great mag, in fact it was the benchmark that Gary Schmidt used when he brought out SAE 30 years ago (and that Kalmbach pretty much lost).

The articles were all first rate, no silly stuff there. R&CM was actually an expansion of very popular Rod & Custom In Miniature section of Rod & Custom which began in earnest in 1961. However, the costs associated with a magazine devoted to model cars, in the business environment out in LA in the 60's, apparently precluded any real profitability, so in early 1965, it went back to being just a model car section in R&C, finally fading away within a year or so.

I only have 7 but thought there were more than 8, Oh well that is one less to search for.
