Just logged on as a new member after a 13 year hiatus from model building. My last build, pictured, was a T/F with some after-market detail parts and some scratch built stuff. Just started a pro-street 69 Dart that will be in street trim. Back-halved it from a GTX kit w/wheels n tires robbed from an AMT Vette kit. Staying w/the 340, 4 speed and may even go w/the six pak from the recent Challenger kit. Got rid of a lot of stuff years ago and wish I hadn’t. This one will take a while. Good therapy to cure the winter blues.

.... Got rid of a lot of stuff years ago and wish I hadn't.....

Welcome PN :D Ya'll got same story lotsa us have. Dat hurt to be reminded of "Got rid of a lot of stuff years ago and wish I hadn't." Ooooh :D I knows I done did the same. Man what I could have now if'n I hadn't done dat. Anyhow, seen yer p-s 69 Dart and just had to check it out.

First car I financed was a used '69 with 318 automatic on the console. Loved to drive dat thing in the snow--usually always going sidewise B) . Got to see some drunk whip outa the right lane while we was waitin on a left turner in front us, and rearend us in dat Dart. Still drove it tho, even with the rear end up in the air like a demoderby ride while waitin for the check from the insurance company until some county cop told me he'd give me a ticky if'n he seen it on the road again.

Lovin the look of your Dart so far. Lookin forward to seeing mo' of it here, and finally 'Under Glass'.

Once again, WELCOME, and have fun.

Later,

CB :P

Hey, I just joined this group yesterday after taking a 15 year break from building models. Went out, bought a model and I am in the planning stage right now for my 32 Ford. Good Luck on your builds and hope to see what you come up with.

Lookin' good PN B) always amazes me how huge them slicks are and how little room there is for when they get hot and expand.

Love to see this ride doin' a burnout :D
