Putting Marmon 110 inch resin cab over cab on frame.

Has anyone here built a Marmon 110 cabover? Please tell me how to mount the cab to the frame. The donor frame is a AMT Freightliner cabover frame. I don't plan on making the cab tilt I just need to now what is the best mounts.

If you don't want it to tilt I imagine you could use Evergreen strips to make vertical posts from the frame to the bottom of the interior. The rear of the cab should have rests where it sits on the frame.

I usually try to replicate the real thing. Here you can see the hinge assembly. In the second photo you can see the rear cab rests. If you are using the big grille, you may have more trouble getting it to tilt in scale due to clearance. If you are going to make it non-tilt, the front mount isn’t going to be seen, so it doesn’t matter much. I use Evergreen and Plastruct. I also use brass and aluminum tube as well as doll house hinges for tilting sometimes.

Ok guys thank you this will help hopefully. I think I'll try the evergreen method. I was at a complete stand still on this one. My 57P went on it's frame pretty good I only had to cut two pieces of evergreen to rest the back of the sleeper on but this cabover just didn't look like it would fit at all.
