Just one thing if you build it Tom? Please put a Ford motor in it . With the 5.0 motors out there now there is no reason for Chevy motors in Fords. That practice is just so out of date too Me. I have tick off a lot of owners at car shows telling the them they have a nice Ford body and they ruined it with a Chevy motor.

While the Wire wheels would set the tone better for the car , I still favor the old Buick flippers or Cadillac " Sombrero' caps . Ed Shaver

I have to agree. Case in point the latest R&C has a beautiful 56 Merc with a GM crate engine and tranny. As it costs about the same these days for crate motors.

Imagine if I was to put a 427 Sideoiler into a tri 5 1:1 Chevy it cause so much controversy.

But I do like the looks of the car just don't show me the engine!

Dam you Tom. I wanted to build this car. I got a few pics of it from this weekend show in Pomona, CA. The guy who built it was there and I had asked him what color was that and he said he honestly forgot. So I told him thanks’ and walked away. As the day went on I happen to walk passed that car once again, and the builder stopped me and asked me if I was still going to build the car. I told him yes so he said here is my card I looked at him weird like what the F#$% He said some kids were running around and hit the show display sign, it fell and put a nice big dent and scratch on the rear ¼ panel. The moral of the story is now he has to mach the paint and for me to call him in a few weeks so he can tell me what the colors he used are. So when I get that info I will give it to you. He thinks the base of the car is GM Gold.
