Clay, I'm going to write a prayer in the prayer book we have at our church. I know of a young man who joined the army last year and now serves proudly in Afghanistan. I will pray for your safe return to as well......... SIR! Ed Shaver

I have to chime in here, too.

So many of us take our safe, stable, day-to-day existence for granted. But the fact is, there are a relatively few number of people out there who's hard work and sacrifice makes it possible for all the rest of us to sleep at night.

We may not necessarily always agree on the politics involved, but I think we can all agree that we as a nation are safer because of the efforts of those people.

I just talked to my buddy in the USMC yesterday, he said he may be leaving feb 25th to an undisclosed location, but he said he may not get to go because they are sending the reservist's first, and he is full active. Stay safe, watch your 6', and send them bastards on the superhighway to the 72 virgins dating service. OOHRAH!!!!! Semper Fidelis brother!

An update, I got news that I will be leaving sometime between May and July. I hope to get my long list of honey dos and a few WIPs done before then.
