Hey, I'm Jordan, and I'm a noob (to the site, not to model building  )

I built up the 1/12th Bel Air over the summer (right now I'm at college, so no building!) Figured I could show it off.

Basically 3 coats Testors yellow spray, wheels painted like the charcoal American Racing TTD's (even though they are Cragar S/S), brake and fuel lines from solder wire, custom exhaust with shortened mufflers (as other builders of this know the stock mufflers are twice as long) and belts made from rubber bands. This was my first big boy, and it was a blast because of the detail I could incorporate. I may have gone a bit overboard with the yellow parts, but I tried to get a sort of black and yellow theme going, like a street rod.

Anyways some pictures.

Hope you enjoy it!

I'll mostly be sticking with the smaller guys, due to lack of shelf space, but it would be nice to do at least one more!

I have an old built kit and a brand new one i got from ebay. I'll be building this car soon, bone stock from the showroom, but with as much detail as i can get into it. im building it for my dad.

Love the colour you chose, and the black adds great contrast. Two big thumbs up from me. :P
